🛡️ Internal Complaints Cell (ICC)

Ensuring a Safe, Inclusive, and Respectful Campus Environment at Ethics University

The Internal Complaints Cell (ICC) is constituted as per UGC and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) guidelines to address complaints of harassment, discrimination, and gender-based misconduct on campus.

Objectives of ICC

Safe & Supportive Environment
Create an environment where students and staff can raise concerns without fear of reprisal, ensuring harassment or discrimination is not tolerated.
Promote Gender Equality
Address systemic issues affecting women and underrepresented groups, promoting equity in academics and employment.
Transparent & Fair Processes
Conduct impartial investigations, provide clear guidelines, and treat all parties with dignity and respect.

Vision of ICC

Zero Tolerance
Establish a culture of respect and inclusivity where harassment and discrimination are strictly prohibited.
Empowering Staff & Students
Provide counseling, legal assistance, and mentorship programs to support professional and personal growth.
Awareness & Prevention
Conduct training, workshops, and bystander intervention programs to promote proactive prevention.

Responsibilities of ICC

Complaint Assistance
Assist employees or students in filing complaints with authorities, including police if needed.
Dispute Redressal & Conciliation
Provide mechanisms for fair resolution, minimizing punitive approaches while protecting rights of complainants.
Protection & Safety
Ensure complainant’s safety and anonymity; provide relief measures like leave, attendance relaxation, or transfer during complaint processing.
Prohibit Retaliation
Ensure no retaliation or adverse action against complainants or witnesses engaged in protected activities.
